Another opportunity to meet men is by taking classes in things that you enjoy. If you enjoy photography take a photography class. There will be other people in that class that have the same interest as you. Having something in common is a great place to start a friendship.
Going to the same place frequently gives the people who also go there often, a chance to get to know you. When you go to places that men go like the grocery store, laundromat, sporting events or volunteer activities you will meet men. The bigger challenge is making yourself available to interact with them. Talking to people and learning about them goes a long way to becoming friends.
No matter where you go though you will have to make an effort to let them know that you are friendly and interested. If you sit back and wait for them to notice you or take an interest in you, you may never find success.
